FROM THE YOUTH DIRECTOR
Hello, everyone. I have to tell you that being sick is one of the worst things in the world to me. I hardly ever get sick, aside from allergies, but I guess getting bad sick has to happen sometime. At times like this when you feel run down and as if every day is a struggle, it is good to remember that God does not give us more than we can handle. The verse 1Corinthians 10:3 talks about temptation and that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. I have always felt that it meant, as well, that trials and other situations that cause us to struggle will not put our heads under water and that God will always help us through any situation we are in. So, we should always remember that our Lord and Creator is always watching out for us. We should not fear or let ourselves feel overburdened by what we are going through and we should always turn over everything to Him.
March 8th starting at 8:00 a.m. is the Church work day and I hope all of you will attend and help out to complete this worthy activity. March 15th is the Softball Tournament, organized by Epworth's own Mandy Revell, and we will be working at this event to support The Relay For Life.
